Roundabout construction causes headaches for businesses

SARASOTA, Florida -- At Nancy's Barbecue, there aren't many complaints about the meals, but there are some complaints about just getting to the restaurant in downtown Sarasota.

"I kind of had to figure out myself how to get back to my own business," owner Nancy Krohngold says.

About a week ago, the city of Sarasota started construction on a roundabout to ease traffic at Ringling Avenue and Pineapple Avenue. If the city didn't start the project now, it risked losing money from the state.
