Sarasota Band Bash returns to Selby Public Library | Arts & Culture

Sarasota, Florida -- Sarasota's Band Bash returns to the Selby Public Library on Feb. 2.

The popular teen concert returns to 1331 First St. from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. with eight of the area's hottest teen bands. There will be free food, crafts, gaming (Wii, PS3, Xbox 360), a DJ, and a host of other activities and sponsors.

The band schedule is listed below:

6 - 6:30 p.m.: Let's Rock Sarasota-Band 1

6:45 - 7:15 p.m.: the Great Frame

7:15 - 7:45 p.m.: Pure Organic Trio

7:45 - 8:15 p.m.: When in Doubt

8:30 - 9 p.m.: Let's Rock Sarasota-Band 2

9 - 9:30 p.m.: SNAPM

9:45 - 10:15 p.m.: Void of Fortune

10:30 - 11 p.m.: Siege of Malakand

Organizers are holding a "Rock My World" T-shirt Design Contest to help promote the event. Teens ages 13-19 can submit their designs to the contest and the winning entry will be the official logo for the 2013 Band Bash.

Volunteers are also needed to help with things like food distribution, gaming, crafts, set up and take down.
