Cops: Argument leads to shooting in Sarasota | Crime

Sarasota, Florida -- Sarasota deputies are investigating a shooting involving three people Friday night.

Deputies say around 10:45 p.m. a couple got into an argument with another man at a home in the 6600 block of Avenue A in Sarasota. During the argument, the man hit the woman with a handgun and shot at the couple. 

Neither were shot but the woman received medical treatment for minor injuries. 

Authorities say they do have a suspect in custody who is being interviewed by detectives.
