Sarasota, Florida -- It's time to clean out the garage and gather up yard waste, tree trimmings and discarded household items.

Sarasota County will hold its annual free community cleanup in the Lake Sarasota area from 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 21. The community cleanup is for residential customers only.

Dumpsters will be provided by Waste Management at two locations:

4th of July Fireworks at Channelside

Join the excitement on Wednesday July 4 with the party starting at 1 p.m. Enjoy live music, entertainment, dining, nightlife and of course Fireworks! 

Live music from 1 p.m. - 11 p.m.! And The Spectacular Fireworks show at 9 p.m.

Channelside 4th of July Independence Day Celebration is a FREE event and is open to the public. 

Sarasota, Florida -- Time to rev up for the Suncoast Super Boat Grand Prix Festival. The 28th Annual event starts this weekend with a number of events.

On Saturday morning, golfers tee off at the Aqua Plumbing & Air Grand Prix Golf Classic and the Festival Kickoff Party is Saturday night. The party takes place at the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium with the Greg Billings Band.

On Sunday, snazzy cars will be on view at Lakewood Ranch. Also on Sunday, there's a Boat & Personal Watercraft "Fun Run" on Sarasota Bay.
