County sets mowing schedule for Aug. 20-31 | News

Sarasota, Florida -- Sarasota County is continuing to carry out its new program for roadside mowing and median maintenance. County crews are being used to supplement mowing in the North Urban area.

The county says it expects to complete the mowing backlog by the end of the month and then maintain mowing sites on a regular schedule.

The mowing schedule for Aug. 20-31, subject to weather conditions, includes the following areas:

Bee Ridge Road East, Siesta Drive., U.S. 41, Columbus Boulevard, Oxford Avenue, Calle del Invierno, Treasure Boat Way, Sandy Nook Street, Higel Avenue, Givens Street, Point of Rocks Road, Crescent Street, Stickney Point Road, State Road 758, Avenida de Paradisio, Midnight Pass Road, Beach Road, Mink Road.

North Rural Zone

Coburn Road, Sarasota Center Boulevard, Fruitville Road

South Urban Zone

Albee Farm Road and surrounding area, Nokomis Area, Edmonson Road , Laurel Road West, U.S. 41, McIntosh Boulevard, Blackburn Point Road , Roberts Road, Kilpatrick Road, Albee Road
