Sarasota, Florida -- Sarasota resident Robert Mitchell claimed the $1 million top prize in the $1,000,000 MONOPOLY Scratch-off game.
Mitchell ended with $700,000 after he opted for the one-time, lump-sum payment for his winnings. He purchased his winning ticket at the Publix store located at 3690 Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota.
The $10 Scratch-Off game, $1,000,000 MONOPOLY, has three $1,000,000 top prizes remaining. The overall odds of winning are one in 3.33.
