Crash causes delays on U.S. 301 | News
Sarasota, Florida -- Sarasota Police are investigating a traffic crash that occurred at 12th Street and U.S. 301 Thursday morning.
Authorities say around 10:45 a.m., 22-year-old Mario Renteria was flown to Blake Medical Center after he was hit by a vehicle while attempting to cross the southbound lanes of U.S. 301.
The investigation caused delays on southbound 301 for about two hours. Anyone with additional information about the crash is asked to call Officer Forrister at 941-587-8289.
No word on the driver of the vehicle in the incident at this time.
