Boil water notice lifted for some neighborhoods, but not all | News

Sarasota, Florida - Sarasota officials have lifted a boil water notice for Golden Gate Point, City Island, Coon Key, Lido Key, St. Armands Key, and the north side of Bird Key.

The precautionary boil water advisory was issued Wednesday, after repairs to a water line break lowered water pressure.

Test results now indicate that the water is safe. However, a precautionary boil water notice remains for Bird Key, south of Bob White Drive, because of another water line break on Thursday.
