Sarasota, Florida - Video of a fight between youth football coaches and a referee over the weekend is going viral and according to the Sheriff's Office, could result in felony charges.
Sarasota County Detectives obtained a copy of the amateur video, which shows a brawl break out on the field before a player jumps into the fray, tackling a referee.

"I think anyone who watches that video has the same reaction we had at the Sheriff's Office... that it was disturbing," said Chief Deputy Col. Steve Burns.
Sheriff's detectives say they're working to identify those involved in the incident, which occurred Saturday at Sarasota's Riverview High School. The fight involved coaches from the Sarasota Gators Youth Football team who were playing the North Port Huskies. The players are all 13 and 14 year olds.
Battery on a sporting official is a third degree felony in Florida, punishable by up to five years behind bars. The Sheriff's office says as of Wednesday, no charges had been filed, but are expected in the coming days.
"Adults have been entrusted in a mentoring position with the youth of our community and acting and behaving in that manor is absolutely unacceptable," said Col. Burns.
